Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that overlays digital content onto the real world, usually through a camera on a device. The app uses the camera to capture the surrounding environment and then adds digital elements to create an augmented view.
What devices are compatible with Edition Golf's AR applications?
Our apps are compatible with iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 or later.
What can I do with Edition Golf's AR apps?
Using our apps will allow you to experience digital content in the real world, getting feedback from the virtual world on your real world putting. We hope this helps your game improve!
How do I start using the Edition Golf's AR apps?
After downloading and installing the app, simply open it, navigate to the Putting Screen and point the device's camera at a surface. The app will recognize the surface and take care of the rest.
Can I use Edition Golf's apps' AR features in low light conditions?
Yes, our apps can work in low light conditions, but it is recommended to use them in a well-lit area for the best experience.
How much space do I need to use Edition Golf's AR apps?
Our apps requires a flat(ish) surface with enough space to display digital content. The minimum space required is about a 1 square yard or 1 square meter. The apps are designed with both a putting green and your living room rug in mind.
Do Edition Golf's AR apps require an internet connection?
While some other features of the apps may be unavailable without an internet connection, the augmented reality experience in Pinseeker AR will be unaffected.
Can I share my AR experience with others?
Yes, you can take screenshots to share with others.
Can I customize the digital content in Edition Golf's AR apps?
It depends which app of ours you are using. Some of our apps allow you to customize the Augmented Content, while others do not.
How do I troubleshoot issues with the AR app?
If you encounter issues with the the Augmented Reality in our apps, first try resetting the AR experience in the user interface. If that doesn't fix your issue, try restarting the app or restarting your device. If the issue persists, check for updates to the app and iOS. You can also contact us for further assistance.
